Anthony created Antidote Travel to establish a surf travel hub offering unique surf trips and special events all over the world for people looking to maximize their valuable vacation time. From time to time we get requests from groups looking to bring their favorite pro surfer on their trip. The reasons for inviting a pro surfer are numerous but typically pro surfers make great guides who exhibit a passion for surfing and an intimate knowledge of waves all over the world. Another frequent request we receive is to invite a pro surfer that participated in their favorite magazine article and the group simply wants to duplicate that same adventure with their friends!

Antidote Travel has partnered with Tropicsurf, based out of Australia, to offer unique destinations and events that provide surfers of all levels to improve through surf instruction.

Tropicsurf's background running surf schools and training world class instructors underpins the entire package. Whether it be a tip on rail pressure control that allows you to start coming out of those tubes – or the push-in on a 10 foot softboard that gets you up and riding on your very first wave, their combination of guiding and coaching means you, the client, are going to catch more waves, ride them better and have more fun – no matter what your ability level might be. Safety is a crucial element when it comes to any surf trip. The sheer nature of our activity and the environment we participate in is unfortunately rife with the potential for injury. For this reason we occasionally get requests from groups looking for an extra layer of safety and preparedness in case of emergency, groups looking to include a qualified doctor or medic on their trip joining them in a "Good Samaritan" capacity.

Antidote Travel maintains a list of trained doctors and medics who we are happy to recommend to groups looking for a friend they can turn to in case of emergency. Having a doctor or medic on your next trip provides a pro-active solution to the uncertainty of surf travel and we are happy to help match you with a doctor or medic that fits your group!

Our mission is to seek out the premiere surf destinations in the world and reserve the entire resort, property, or surf charter boat exclusively for members in our community. This being said, most of the destinations we offer possess exquisite food and dining supervised by experienced and qualified chefs. In fact, the highlight on most of our trips, besides the waves, is the food, and we're confident you will come home a few pounds heavier instead of a few pounds lighter!

As more and more surfers stay loose in the yoga studio we have started to see more and more custom surf trips emerge that offer great waves and professional yoga instruction. Antidote Travel plans to offer a few "Events" that offer surf and yoga enthusiasts a chance to combine their passions. In the meantime we have compiled a short list of experienced yoga instructors that we refer and recommend to groups looking to customize their trip with a qualified and friendly yoga instructor. We've tried to cover every possible type of expert and one of the most overlooked might be a writer! If you are looking for someone who is an accomplished photographer/writer, filmmaker/writer , or just a plain old writer to help document your trip Antidote Travel can help. We have relationships with some of the most well known writers in the surf world who concidentally also make some of the best surf guides in our special events and are usually our most seasoned travelers. Similar to adding a pro surfer, some groups like to add a writer to their trip to help them duplicate their favorite magazine article!

Brian Nevins is an avid traveler and acclaimed photographer based out of New Hamphire. His wide body of work can be found through the pages of numerous magazines, catalogs, and exhibits. His love for the cold and passion for the unordinary is Brian's true focal point.

Over the course of the last several years, Brian has established himself as one of the premier photographers in the action sports world. Through his lens, he’s documented a wide range of characters, including gold-medal snowboarder Shaun White, Pipeline Master Rob Machado and skateboard legend Christian Hosoi.

The vast majority of our "Experts" are surf travel veterans who currently work in the surf travel industry at one of our destinations or participate in one of our unique events.
