Hi! I’m Krista

I’m originally from Long Island, NY and left the country for the very first time in 1992 when my high school organized an Easter weekend audience with the Pope in Vatican City! As we toured Assisi, Florence, Venice and finally Rome, I was struck by the beauty of other places and made it my mission to experience as much of the world as possible. At the University of Notre Dame, I spent my sophomore year in beautiful Innsbruck, Austria, exploring a lot of Europe while I was there. (By train! Because in those days, flights were much more expensive.)

After college, I moved to Chicago and joined the financial services industry. I spent nearly 20 years working in international product management for Morningstar, Inc., the firm best known for their mutual fund star ratings. The world kept calling me though and I used all my vacation time to visit places like London, Munich (where I later lived for six months), Brussels, Beijing, and Hong Kong.

After getting my MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, I moved to London where I lived for 11+ years. From my new base in the UK, I branched out, visiting places like Jordan, Israel, Morocco, Egypt, Oman, Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam. As of this writing, I’ve visited over 75 countries.

These days, I run my travel agency from sunny West Palm Beach, Florida. I moved here in 2019 to take care of my mom, who battled Parkinson’s Disease for over 30 years. Sadly, she lost her fight in February of 2025. As a caretaker, I learned firsthand that while the days are long, the years are short. In our final months together, my mom and I spent a lot of time talking about our favorite memories; our travels to places like Hong Kong, Thailand, the UK, Germany and Portugal always made the top of the list.

Today, while I still enjoy planning my own trips, now my mission is to help other people plan theirs. Time is a gift, and travel is one of the richest ways to spend it.
