The complimentary breakfast here is easily a $100+ daily value — the resort's restaurant is genuinely excellent. Upgrades at Mayakoba tend to be meaningful (think lagoon villa to suite territory, not a floor change). It's also an easy flight from most U.S. cities, which matters.
